Solicitor Services

What do you get?
Grosscurth & Co. who provide a very attractive balance between use of modern computer technology and exercise of judgment by experienced people.
Claims
If you are looking for solicitor debt recovery but like the way we optimize our letters before claim and claims, Grosscurth's will operate our claims engine for you.  Telephone us to discuss your requirements.
Execution
Grosscurths are particularly experienced in all forms of execution. They are so good at it we don't even try to offer an alternative service.  So either do it yourself using the guidance we give you on site or leave it to Grosscurths.
Disputed Debt Recovery
We offer an initial appraisal of a dispute and a rapid response to the debtor.  In our appraisal we sometimes recommend that the dispute be conducted by solicitors (or you may prefer that even if we do not recommend it).  If your claim is not a small claim, is disputed, and you prefer to have a solicitor handle it for you, Grosscurths are experienced in handling debt claims all over the country.
Trial Preparation
The majority of debt claims will have been paid/settled long before that stage but the minority that get that far are best handled using the classic litigation model of solicitors and counsel (For the court of appeals's catalogue of disputed litigation models click here).  Grosscurths will prepare your trial bundles for you (a bigger task than you realise - just try doing one) and will liaise with the Court and you over listing the trial.
Advocacy at Distant Courts
Grosscurths will instruct an advocate for you if your claim results in a Court Hearing or trial.  It may be us if the hearing is a telephone hearing or is to be heard in the North West. In other parts of the Country Grosscurths will instruct a barrister who practices in the court concerned. They also have a large network of solicitor agents upon whom they can call for minor or uncontested hearings in distant courts.
Experienced Business Solicitors
Grosscurths are experienced business solicitors.  Apart from Debt recovery services they will advise you on matters of company law or partnership law. For such work they may instruct a chancery (property) barrister. They do not pretend to be experts in everything. They will identify who the experts are and go straight to them for you. That way you don't pay for their learning time and they don't damage your interests by muddling on (at your expense) for months or years before telling you then you need a barrister to advise you, a scenario seen all too often from some solicitors.
